New Footscray Hospital
The Victorian Government is planning for the health needs of Melbourne’s west, which is expected to see a 60 per cent growth in the next 20 years.
Recognising that good infrastructure provides a firm foundation for good health outcomes, the Government is planning for a new Footscray Hospital to service Melbourne’s western suburbs.
What’s new: Community information session for non-English speakers
An information session will be held for those who speak Vietnamese, Arabic, Mandarin, Cantonese, Burmese and Macedonian.
When: 5.30 – 7pm on Wednesday, 8 May 2019

Get involved in the community consultative committee
A community consultative committee will be established to provide a forum for the local community to participate in the development of the New Footscray Hospital. The committee will include representatives from Western Health, local council, local health services and key community advocacy groups as well as the broader local community.
